Oral Health Progress and Equity Network
The Oral Health Progress and Equity Network is an innovative nonprofit that empowers members to improve oral health in California. The network works with the goal of ensuring that everyone in California has access to quality oral health care. The group has two main objectives: to advocate for the Medicare dental benefit and to increase community awareness about oral health. To make this happen, it gathers members from the field and supports them through regular meetings, in-person and virtual, and online collaboration tools.
The Oral Health Progress and Equity Network is an initiative of the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation and is focused on providing comprehensive dental care to every American. The network has more than 300 members, representing more than 40 different health care organizations and local communities. The organization has a mission to help people access affordable dental care. In Texas alone, there are more than 30 member organizations. The Oral HPE Network has 39 state or regional coalitions, working to promote the advancement of oral health and dental care.
“OPEN” stands for Oral Health Progress and Equity Network. It was originally the Oral Health 2020 Network, which was rebranded as the Oral Health Progress and Equity Network. Its purpose is to create an equitable, universal, and accessible oral health care system. This network includes veterans and people with disabilities and is devoted to improving the quality of life for Americans. It has over one million members.
